Unlock the potential of professional-grade solutions at an affordable price range with our commitment to innovation, quality, reliability, and unparalleled customer support. Our solutions are meticulously designed to meet the demands of research-grade applications, empowering astronomers, astrophysicists, and researchers to delve into astrometry, photometry, search programs, and more. We understand the importance of precision and efficiency in your endeavors, and our products are crafted to deliver just that.

What is the friction drive?

The friction drive also called a roller drive, consists of a small diameter roller pressed against a large diameter disk. The main philosophy of this drive system is very simple, a small-diameter roller rotates a large-diameter disc, and this allows us to use a large gear ratio, for example, 1:500, also more. But simple philosophy requires precise material selection, the final touch gives us very precise machining for all mechanical parts in the drive system

Why friction drive system?

Achieving sub-arcsecond level tracking precision is not just a promise but a reality with our friction drive system. Free from the complexities of encoders and elaborate electronic setups, our technology provides a direct and efficient solution for astronomers who prioritize precision without compromising simplicity. Say goodbye to the challenges associated with intricate electronics and software—our friction drive system empowers you to focus on the beauty of the cosmos rather than navigating technical complexities. The absence of encoders doesn’t hinder performance; instead, it enhances the reliability and ease of use of our system.

Dual dovetail saddle Vixen/Losmandy

The inclusion of simple yet robust locking levers ensures a secure and reliable grip, providing peace of mind during your astronomical observations or astrophotography sessions. The ease of use afforded by these levers allows for quick adjustments and swift transitions, empowering you to focus on the celestial wonders above rather than grappling with complicated equipment.

Innovative DC and USB hub

DC/USB hub is essential for cleaning up the mess. This hub enables you to power all kinds of devices, up to 8 (imaging cameras,  filter wheels, autofocusers, ASIAIR, heat strips/heaters, etc.) with a single power cable running up to the telescope, and also all necessary USB data communication with a control computer (imaging and guide cameras,  filter wheels, autofocusers, etc.).

Polemaster adaptor plate

Simplify and enhance your polar alignment process with our user-friendly solution. By incorporating a straightforward adapter on the DEC head, you can simply attach the PoleMaster electronic pole finder directly to the mount, utilizing predefined M4 holes for a secure and precise connection.
